Local Coordinator

Aimee Foy

Hi I’m Aimee. I’m 26 and grew up close to London but have lived in London for 9 years! I am currently working in the fashion industry and have worked within my industry on and off for 14 years. I studied Spatial Design and have a keen interest in architecture and interior design. I do some freelance work in this field too which I love doing. Outside of work I love to escape the city and get into the countryside. I like lots of outdoor activities like skiing, swimming and if lying on the beach counts then I’m an olympic champion of that! I’m also a keen runner and hope to do a marathon next year!

Please note that we do not issue charitable tax receipts for donations of Shoebox gifts.

Reducing the feelings of isolation and loneliness faced by women impacted by homelessness is one of the most important outcomes of The Shoebox Project.  Women who are experiencing homelessness or living in unstable or unsafe conditions often report feeling disconnected from their community, invisible and alone.  A Shoebox gift not only contains essentials and gifts that are much appreciated by the women we serve, but it’s also a rare gesture of kindness from one community member to another, and serves as a powerful reminder for a woman that she is seen, valued and cared for.
